Welcome to Adventurous Escapes
Tip Of The Day
Empty your wallet of unneeded credit cards, etc., before departing. If you don't take it, you can't lose it!
My name is John, and I am a travel junkie. I have been to 49 of the states and about two dozen countries. Travel is energizing, and a great way to clear your mind and
refresh your spirit. And there is no better education. See first-hand how others live.
Stand where history was made, or trek where few have gone before. Imagine
yourself on a mountaintop, watching the sun rise over rice paddies of electric green,
as a gentle breeze wafts to you the aromas of ginger, cinnamon, and lemon grass.
Stop imagining it! Put yourself in the picture!

have been in business for many years, and promote responsible tourism practices.
Travel with an easy mind. You can also book air travel and rent cars, buy trip insurance,

Clothing & Gear
- Have you ever been miserable because your "rain repellent" jacket wasn't? Is your
old wheelie bag ready to pack it in? Think you might want a water purifier while
trekking around Guatemala? Be prepared. Travel safely and comfortably with clothing
and gear from companies you know and trust.
Photography & Video
- If you are going on a special trip, you'll want to capture the memories. Going
on safari? You'll want a good look at the rhinos - from a safe distance. Find the
cameras, videos, and accessories you need. Then organize and share your photos with
your friends!
Stay In Touch
– You booked your trip weeks ago, and now work is nuts. But you really NEED this
trip. Go! Just stay in touch using today’s technology. Voice-over-internet service,
SIM cards, satellite phones – you have more options than ever before.
Books, Magazines & Language Aids
- Are you not sure where you want to go yet? Need some ideas? Maybe you'd like to
prepare for your trip to the Amazon by reading about the indigenous people? Or perhaps
you'd like to be able to order your croissants with jam in French. Do your homework!
Giving Back
- If you've traveled much, you know that we in North America are very fortunate.
Most of us take for granted the roof above us, and that we will have enough food
to eat, and clean water to drink. But many people around the world still don't have
these basic necessities. Make the world just a little better.
